Call on CUNY Law Administration to Condemn Antisemitic Graduation Speaker

The Jewish community at CUNY Law needs your support following an egregious decision by the school to host a flagrantly antisemitic commencement speaker.

For years, Nerdeen Mohsen Kiswani has spewed antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories about the Jewish state to ignite anti-Israel sentiments and Jew-hatred. Now, Kiswani’s bigoted remarks will be displayed at CUNY Law School’s graduation ceremony, where taxpayer dollars will fuel her divisive speech.

To provide a snapshot of Kiswani's record of racist remarks, the leader of Within Our Lifetime, a hate group dedicated to eradicating Israel, has called for the death of Zionists. Kiswani has also called for another intifada and has honored the leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist group.

To top off her antisemitic rampage against Israel and the Jewish community, Kiswani has opposed the widely-adopted International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism while championing the notorious Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS).

By hosting Kiswani, CUNY Law will not only be endorsing this bigotry but will also be directly responsible for contributing to increased threats against the Jewish community at a time when antisemitic hate crimes are up 24 percent in New York alone.

Urge CUNY Law’s administration to stand with Israel and the Jewish community by withdrawing support for Kiswani’s speech without delay.
