Stand Against Antisemitism at UT Austin

Stand Against Antisemitism at UT Austin

Just weeks after a gunman held Jewish congregants hostage in a Texas synagogue, radicals at the University of Texas Austin are fighting to prevent the school from adopting a definition of antisemitism. The definition must first be adopted by the student government which is scheduled to be voted on soon.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism, also known as IHRA, outlines how to address Jew hatred and will protect Jewish students and faculty members on campus. For years, IHRA has been regarded as the gold standard for understanding antisemitism and combating the world’s oldest hatred. As antisemitism continues to surge across the globe, governments and universities have adopted IHRA to stand firmly against all forms of Jew hatred.

Demand the University of Texas Austin stand with the Jewish community on campus by upholding IHRA without delay.
